How to use the driver update tool on your PC
To update your computer's drivers, you need to download and install the driver update tool on to your PC. When you are finished updating your drivers, you may wish to uninstall the driver utility. Here are some simple, step-by-step instructions for doing so.
Installing the driver utility to update your drivers
To begin the installation process, download the setup file from any of the download buttons on this page (5.1MB, executable file). The download will take approximately 30 seconds on most connections.
Once the setup file is on your system, locate it and double-click on it to begin the installation process. The installer will show you a splash screen welcoming you to the product. Press the Next button to continue past this.
Now, review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and make sure you agree with it. Press Next again to continue. The application will now install on to your computer, and configure itself for maximum compatibility with your system.
When the application is finished installing, it will run automatically and prompt you to begin a driver scan to find new drivers for your system.
Uninstalling the driver tool when you're finished updating your drivers
Uninstalling the driver update tool couldn't be easier. Open your Start menu and press the All Programs button. In this list, find the driver software's folder. Inside this folder, you will find an icon labeled Uninstall. Click on this to begin uninstalling the software.
You may be asked whether you're sure you want to remove the program from your computer. Press Yes, and it will uninstall cleanly from your system. No traces or remnants will be left.
