One of the first things it checks is whether you're running a 64-bit CPU and operating system. Then, it checks the rest of the hardware in your computer for their unique identifiers.
It uses this information to communicate with the driver database and request a list of available 64-bit driver updates that are compatible with your system.
-

Following the scan, Driver Robot will present to you a list of available updates from its database of 2,000,000 device drivers. You can be completely assured that all driver updates presented to you in this step are 100% compatible with your system - Driver Robot only ever requests drivers that match all of the hardware in your system.
